On Friday morning at 7AM, everyone will find that they're now able to leave their suites and dormitories. How will they know the time they can leave? Well, it's because it's hard to ignore the fire alarm that's blaring in every building of the campus, and also the fact that all of the banners and materials with the school crest seems to have changed into something different? Hm.

Is this a practice drill? Did someone pull the alarm? Perhaps there's an actual fire somewhere. There's only one way to find out.

Maybe you should look around.

Welcome Students, to the seventh investigation!

We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6PM EST and another set at 7PM EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters.

We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8PM and 9PM EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9PM EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s).

[Truly home a tree suddenly falls over on Ichinose and crushes her to death.

But, hewwo? She is approaching the woods, waving at Lucretia when she notices her.]

... Morning, Director. Seeing your face truly brightens my day. Are you feeling well?

[So, uhhh. What's visible at a glance? She is looking at the area immediately outside of the woods, checking for anything odd in the surroundings, as well as anything above or below the trees on the edge of the woods.]

[He gives her a look over, like he's trying to see how she's feeling, and then follows her towards the gardens. If nothing obviously stands out from looking at it, he will go to the greenhouse.]

[ Yeah, good place. Before trampling in he's checking the door specifically too. Is it closed, open, messed up any? ]

[good... morning, ichinose?? she blinks at that greeting, though. I should ask the same of you, maybe.

anyway, if ichinose has the trees, she's checking out the ground. also which section of woods are we conveniently at, mods? n/s/e/w?]

[The door is open, I suppose. Nothing out of place on the outside, though.]

[It looks like some flowers are missing in the garden.

Nothing seems out of place in the greenhouse.]

Well, perhaps not "good."

[ alright, in lux goes. is anything immediately out of place? is it on fire? ]

Last time I looked in here, I was digging through the trash for a dog with ... someone, I guess? When was that. Weird.

[Wow ........ anyway. Looking at the food bars, the hot bar and the salad bar. Is there blood on the floor. What about the CEILING.]

On the outside of the woods, by the moat (in the area near Winter Dorm), they'll see a few objects on the ground...?]

[she is feeling... stressed! haha! visibly tense, but other than favoring the leg, she doesn't look particularly ill or pained.]

... Looks like some flowers are missing here.

[so she'll get a little closer to check that out! can she tell from the surrounding flowers what kind they probably were? were they plucked, or uprooted? anything out of place in the vicinity, on closer inspection?]

[Look. Listen. She purposefully did not call it a good morning for a reason. She hums. Thinks: I'm fine. And—]

That's good to hear.

[Time to check out those mysterious objects...? While watching her step in case there's something funky on the way there. How many objects are we talking about?]

[Nothing on the ceiling! The place is not on fire, either.

By the hot bar and salad bar, there is... a body! I'll be nice and say that said body seems to be zzzzzzz-ing.]

Hmm. I hope we won't find anything here as bad as what we found last week.

[He is going to look for any dirt that seems disturbed, because god. And he will walk around the edges of the garden to see if he can find anything else out of the ordinary - any traces of someone walking through here, any dead bodies.]

[oh, objects-- she'll come take a look also, if there are apparently multiple? but she's watching the ground as well, we're not stepping on evidence here, hopefully.]

[The missing flowers were probably lilies, plucked.

Caleb can have generically disturbed dirt that suggests someone might've been walking through the area, but there don't appear to be any bodies.]

... That feels like it was forever ago.

[ jesus god okay lux is hurrying over to the body. who is it and are they okay? ]

[ Over a month is a long time!! Anyway, oh dear. Body. Trotting over as well, going down to shake them awake by the shoulder. ]

[Well, actually. Before they can reach the items, they'll see something else in their way.

There are two geese patrolling the area, and while neither Ichinose nor Lucretia is on their shit list, they're ready to defend their territory.]
