Fall has truly swept over the campus, and the colorful leaves will crunch underneath your feet as you walk through the school. In fact, your adventures might bring you to some new locations where construction has concluded. Take a look around!

On every building bulletin board, as well as on your phone, there's a new posting for this week's Dorm Wars tasks. Check out which answer resonates with you the most, and then get those points for your team! Speaking of your team, it seems like Office Hours are open for all Dorm Heads if you'd like to chat with them. Maybe see if there's anything you'd like to redeem a voucher for?

Once again, a now familiar ringtone plays from every student's phone. The screen will automatically open to the Student Directory. Everyone's ID Cards with their wonderfully flattering and fitting pictures are now out there for the world to see. How do you feel about yours?

A few classes in particular have been highlighted with open enrollment and can be joined for the week:

Finally, there also appears to be a hay ride attraction for everyone to enjoy. Yes, you can ride the tractor. No, you can't cause property damage. In fact, it seems like as you enjoy your hay ride or tractor joy ride, you may hear the occasional growl of a bear.... And just in case you need a nice cozy place to have all these deep, important conversations, a bonfire is located at the central campus lawn with blankets and wooden logs available for everyone to sit on - plus supplies for s'mores! Yay!

Yeah. Pretty much. You're from a world where magic exists?

And you're from an electricity world.

[she's starting to think that the line between them is rather thin. magic and advanced technology... what was the difference?]

Right, now you're getting it. [sipping his tea.] But I guess we kind of can use magic in that other world even if it's not really us using it? Especially since the world world is kind of like electricity?

[digital...]

[wow she might've been really close with the electricity and magic crossover there as far as she's concerned.

she nods.]

It sounds fantastical.

[if not for recent events, she wouldn't believe him.]

[he will never tell her otherwise, byleth is doing great. i, however, am not because i really meant "the whole world" and not "the world world."]

It's one of the most amazing places I've ever seen. Even with all of the monsters around.

Your own world, Earth, it doesn't have monsters?

[goalsides]

Nope. The only time monsters ever show up there is when a gate to the other world gets opened and they come through.

[it happens more than you'd think.]

...What opens the gates?

[goalsides]

For a while we either found them and had to figure out the keys, or portals would just open and we'd have to jump through them when the time was right or risk being stuck. Then for a while we could access gates through our computers. There's a couple of different ways but I don't know how to really make them work myself.

[he's not the nerd here. and all of the other times were just holes being ripped in reality basically. it's a mess.]

So you have no set way to go back and meet your... Digimon partners?

And these gates could open at any time, and wreck havoc?

[goalsides]

Right. [haha, surprise.] Whenever something happens in the Digital World, it starts to effect Earth. And that's when Digimon can start showing up and destroying everything.

[property damage is real.]

[divineimpulse]

Digimon also destroy things? [ohhh. wait. she was closer with the cursed beast thing than she thought.]

...The ones that are unpartnered?

[goalsides]

[...well.]

Yeah, for the most part. There are good Digimon and there are evil Digimon, just like there's good and evil people.

[divineimpulse]

A whole race of electric beings with morals.

[sure. you know what? okay. electricity is definitely magic.]

What do they look like?

[goalsides]

[...]

Right. Close enough. [byleth is trying and that's fine.] They all look different. My partner looks like a dinosaur but smaller. [...he is pretty sure she does not know what that is actually.] Or a big lizard with claws. He also breathes fire.

[divineimpulse]

[indeed, she starts to open her mouth at dinosaur--

--and closes it at lizard.]

A dragon?

[goalsides]

Yeah. Like a little dragon without wings. He kind of has wings sometimes in some of his other forms but usually he stays on the ground.

[divineimpulse]

The evolution magic gave him wings. [how redbull energy of it. she nods, though. feels like she's starting to understand digimen!]

[goalsides]

Right. When they get more power, they evolve further and change forms. When that power runs out, they revert to their less powerful forms.

[divineimpulse]

How long does the power last for?

[goalsides]

Depends. Either until they win the fight or until they take too much damage and have to fall back. But it usually works out.

[divineimpulse]

[oh okay, makes sense.]

It sounds more as though you're their auxiliary, than the other way around.

[goalsides]

Yeah. They can't evolve without us, but we can't fight without them. So it's more like a joint effort.

[it's all about the bond. their own strengths wouldn't be nearly as amplified if they didn't have partners to share them with.]

[divineimpulse]

[huh

very cute...]

It's a shame I can't meet them.

[until friday when everyone will be glad they're not here to suffer.]

Yeah. [readily agreeing because everyone should love and meet their digimon? they're good babies.] But it's probably better they aren't here. Agumon would do terrible in a classroom.
