Welcome to Winter Term! Everything is distinctly colder, even some of the animals around campus retreating to warmer pastures. It's not snowing... yet, but you get the feeling it's imminent. All the banners that had their motto shifted over the weekend seem to have reverted back as well. In fact, your adventures might bring you to some new locations where construction has concluded. Take a look around! Don't forget to peer over at Dean's List. Not to mention this is a school campus, which means things are changing all the time - keep an eye out.

On every building bulletin board, as well as on your phone, there's a new posting for this week's Dorm Wars tasks. Check out which answer resonates with you the most, and then get those points for your team! Speaking of your team, it seems like Office Hours are open for all Dorm Heads if you'd like to chat with them. Maybe see if there's anything you'd like to redeem a voucher for?

Though if you're looking through your phone, it appears that the profiles for Lan Wangji and Lila Rossi have both disappeared. Expulsion is a hell of a drug.

Just because it's getting colder doesn't mean that things can't get all warm and fuzzy, though! There are a few advertisements around campus for the week's Winter Formal - maybe there's someone you'd like to ask? Or you don't need to make it a big deal, it can be whatever. Just like the idle touches that you feel the need to leave on other people's persons. This week, you'll feel compelled to be a little more tactile and prone to touch than other weeks - soft touches probably, but you can also get rough if you want, I guess, I'm not the boss of you.

Well, that's over near Spring Dorm, so there they go towards it. Thanks to the people who left nice memorial items and stuff even if the dorms are looking super comical around now with the post-it dicks on Winter and everything. Wow.

Caiman doesn't look too happy to be here but it's not really about ghosts, probably. ]

[those post-it dicks....... Manwol thinks they're hilarious, honestly. She'll release Caiman's arm long enough to lean over and place the lily on Lila's memorial. She turns and sees Caiman's expression,]

What's wrong? Feeling nervous?

[lightly, though she has a feeling that if it was because of ghosts, then he'd have probably said something about them already]

No... I'm not nervous about graves. Seen plenty of 'em during Day of the Living Dead.

[ Hmm... ]

Just feels different. Never seen a lot of people so sad about someone dying before.

[ Death just isn't so much of a big deal. Everything is so blase. ]

Memorials are new. Having a body to bury is also not always guaranteed, I guess, in Hole. Or anyone who wants to bury you.

What about you? Do you have someone who'll bury you when you die?

That'll require me dyin' first, and I'm not planning on doing that for a long while.

[ ...Huh? Caiman blinks slow, turning his head a little and raising a hand to hold it. ]

[Manwol watches him carefully, then leans in so she knock her elbow against him. touch week...]

I don't have anyone who would bury me. Not when I was alive, and not even as a ghost.

[ Nikaido would most certainly bury him... probably. But he's remembering, something. He shakes off the sharp pain in his head and a hand moves to hold her elbow... awkwardly. ]

If you died, we'd bury you.

[ If she'd died last week they would've put up a memorial. ]

...I guess you're right. [people?? feeling bad about her???] People always need memorials to feel better... Even more if they feel guilty or responsible for the death.

Burying people just 'cause you feel bad about it is a shit reason. Don't you go to memorials 'cause you don't want to forget about the people who died?

Go on and let her have it then. I dunno anything about this sort of stuff, but I think she'd like a flower.

Really? Huh, guess I haven't really thought about whether I want to be remembered if I died. Only really thought about the stuff I wanna get done while I'm alive.

...And after I do that, I wanna go back to Hole, and help out at Nikaido's restaurant, and keep eating her gyoza.

Yeah! Best damn ohba gyoza, even across worlds I bet!

[ He would normally never share, ever, but maybe there will be an exception Manwol. ]

...Now I really want to try it. Eating out at popular restaurants is one of my favorite things to do.

[ Good... converts everyone to eating gyoza icly... ]
