WEEK 2: MINGLE

remaining students: 38
Hey, wake up! Before you're late for school!
The first thing you'll receive when you wake up is a notification: Updated Dorm Wars Standings.
☀️ SUMMER: 29
🍁 FALL: 40
❄️ WINTER: 47
Welcome to Winter Term! Everything is distinctly colder, even some of the animals around campus retreating to warmer pastures. It's not snowing... yet, but you get the feeling it's imminent. All the banners that had their motto shifted over the weekend seem to have reverted back as well. In fact, your adventures might bring you to some new locations where construction has concluded. Take a look around! Don't forget to peer over at Dean's List. Not to mention this is a school campus, which means things are changing all the time - keep an eye out.
On every building bulletin board, as well as on your phone, there's a new posting for this week's Dorm Wars tasks. Check out which answer resonates with you the most, and then get those points for your team! Speaking of your team, it seems like Office Hours are open for all Dorm Heads if you'd like to chat with them. Maybe see if there's anything you'd like to redeem a voucher for?
Though if you're looking through your phone, it appears that the profiles for Lan Wangji and Lila Rossi have both disappeared. Expulsion is a hell of a drug.
A few classes in particular have been highlighted with open enrollment and can be joined for the week:
- DENT 634: Bite, Chomps, and Nips - What's the Difference?
ANIM 345: Mythical Animals: Unicorns, Manticorns, & Bears Oh My!
ENG 123: The Art of the Passive-Aggressive Sticky Note
PSY 400: Love Yourself Please
Just because it's getting colder doesn't mean that things can't get all warm and fuzzy, though! There are a few advertisements around campus for the week's Winter Formal - maybe there's someone you'd like to ask? Or you don't need to make it a big deal, it can be whatever. Just like the idle touches that you feel the need to leave on other people's persons. This week, you'll feel compelled to be a little more tactile and prone to touch than other weeks - soft touches probably, but you can also get rough if you want, I guess, I'm not the boss of you.
team two arcanists and a gladiator walk into a computer lab
Glances at Adora.
Glances at Alphinaud.
Glances....... and the computer........]
Welp! How about this? I take care of the computer, and you two come with a story that's sure to move audiences across the world to tears.
[Who's starring in their terrible fanfic? Place your votes now.]

Looks at Ichinose.
And nods.]
Yeah, okay, sounds good to me. Space archivist who likes ovens... sure.
It's just a story. How hard can it be?

I'm sure we'll do fine! [a beat.] ... Well, right after a lesson on outer space. Do you know what a space ship is?
no subject
First Ones tech! That can take you out in space easily.
no subject
I... do not. 'Tis truly that simple?
no subject
First Ones...? Is that the name of your space exploration program?
no subject
[...]
But the spaceships still fly.
no subject
That must be truly impressive technology. Well, this is but a work of fiction wherein anything is possible...
Now, the true question is who shall end up in this spaceship of ours?
no subject
And she totally deflates.]
Aw... Adora-san, you simply have to tell me all about the First Ones later. You will, won't you? If you don't, I think I'll die of curiosity.
[But, anyway...]
... Riegan-san?
no subject
[She has no idea what she's getting into.
A beat.]
Uh... is he a particularly archivist sort? We need someone... [nerdy] ... bookish?
no subject
Naught tells us we cannot twist the truth by some, should it become necessary.
no subject
[Alphinaud, you should have offered yourself. Don't let this happen to Otome.]
We could write a whirlwind space opera romance for her.
[That sure is a string of words.]
[1/2]
What's a space opera romance? How's it different from a regular space romance?
no subject
no subject
W- well. 'Tis but a story—we could make anyone be the ideal partner for her!
[ Which doesn't make him any less afraid to make a suggestion, though. ]
no subject
That's right! They don't have to be good enough for Yanagiya-san. In this world, we can backspace their faults away and make them worthy for her affections. It's the magic of fiction.
no subject
I guess we should just pick a love interest then?
no subject

ichinose nods enthusiastically.]
I see, I see...! Sounds like a match made in space heaven. Now, what else?
no subject
Fine by me, I think.
Sooo... we have to include and oven and the sentence 'You shouldn't have heard that', right?
... Weird mix of things.

Sounds kinda ominous for a birthday cake, but I think that sounds like a nice story.
Maybe Claude's trying to have a sneaky birthday party before Otome has to go back into space? For her... space books?
