It's time. It's here. Dead Hot Girl Summer. Temperatures are heating up around campus, the smoothie shop is the place to be, and it seems like the end of the school year is in sight. Isn't that exciting? All the banners that had their motto shifted over the weekend seem to have reverted back as well. In fact, your adventures might bring you to some new locations where construction has concluded. Take a look around! Don't forget to peer over at Dean's List. Not to mention this is a school campus, which means things are changing all the time - keep an eye out.

On every building bulletin board, as well as on your phone, there's a new posting for this week's Dorm Wars tasks. Check out which answer resonates with you the most, and then get those points for your team! Speaking of your team, it seems like Office Hours are open for all Dorm Heads if you'd like to chat with them. Maybe see if there's anything you'd like to redeem a voucher for?

Though if you're looking through your phone, it appears that the profiles for Leo Valdez, Tsuyukusa, and Otome have all disappeared. Expulsion is a hell of a drug.

In order to combat the weather, it seems like there are quite a few stations set up around campus. There's a bunch of faucets that weren't there before, coupled with incredibly necessary supplies. Go for it, you know you want to. All's fair in love and Dorm Wars. Though it may be just a little concerning when, for very short blips at a time, you might be able to hear a clip of someone's thoughts as they happen.

[ oh, he's - starting to get bristly, now, especially at the shoulder pat. ]

What? What is it? Just get to the point.

...you're not going to be able to recognize it if I tell you, Ichiro. Not completely. Something affected you, but it's-- it's going to pass, I promise it is.

[steelo]

[ oh, he really doesn't like that. ichiro scowls, shifting away from the hand that was on his shoulder. ]

What the hell are you talking about? I'm fine.

[ambiography]

[yeah, she lets him, she's not forcing it.]

...You feel like you are, I'm sure, but-- sometimes, if everyone around you seems strange, the easier answer is that it's not actually all of them.

[steelo]

[ he takes another step back - ichiro's good hand shoots into his pocket and curls around something, tight. ]

What? Shut up - you don't know me, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. [ this is angrier, now but - there's an underlying panic, too.

what? what the hell? ]

[ambiography]

[she tends to be pretty good at keeping things under wraps, externally. she doesn't want him to remember properly later and think back on seeing her be hurt at this when it isn't his fault.]

It'll pass. I promise. Just don't think on it too hard, and don't feel too badly about this later.

[we all knew the risks, but-- still. being on the other end of this is just as bad.]

[steelo]

[ he just sort of - jerks his head, and looks away, squeezing whatever's in his pocket even tighter. ichiro looks jittery, angry, and his thoughts are racing.

Someone - someone at Chuuoku. Who - who could've, someone there would - could - who?

[ambiography]

...you'll be all right.

[she says that more quietly. you have to be.]

[steelo]

[ you'll be alright, she says, and he just snaps - ]

What the hell is wrong with me, then?!

[ his voice picks up volume with it, but that underlying panic surges through even worse. what happened? what happened? what is this? why is everyone looking at me like that, why, why ]

[ambiography]

...Your memory, Ichiro. I know because I've been through the same thing. You don't know it right now, but-- you tried to help me, then.

[steelo]

My memory - my memory's fine!

[ he's infuriated, now, almost shouting that, thoughts still running that same, miserable angry, confused train, like a caged animal. ] I just told you, I'm Ichiro Yamada, I'm from Ikebukuro Division, I got isekai'd into this garbage school!

[ambiography]

But it's not exactly a school full of people that you know well right now, is it.

[she doesn't think he'd react to her this way otherwise.

you have no idea how many people here care about you.]

[steelo]

No? [ ichiro looks around - from face to face in the room, back to this woman in front of him. ] Why the hell would I?!

[ what's happening to me?! the panic gets worse, replaced with anger, panic, a little fear, just all completely visible on his face. ichiro's never been a good liar. ]

[ambiography]

-that's what I mean by your memory being affected, but if you push it, I don't think it's going to help you. It just-- it's going to go away in time, like it did for me.

[she hates seeing that expression on him, though. that's the hardest part of this, seeing him go through it.]

[steelo]

[ ichiro takes a step back again, this time, stumbling and nearly falling because he has to sit down. he falls into a chair and just sort of white knuckles the mic in his pocket, stunned, staring at the surface of the desk in front of him. kon's little pamphlet is still sitting here, but he doesn't look at it.

I'm Ichiro Yamada. I'm from Ikebukuro. I run a yorozuya. I have ..

I have...

...

he stops, after a second, buries his hand in his hair, and shakes his head. ]

...you have people you can't remember right now, but you will. Just-- keep in mind that it's going to be strange until then.

It might be easier on you if you go back to your dorm for a little while, Ichiro.

[steelo]

[

he's just like. nonresponsive, staring at the desk, his thoughts fucking racing, like he's trying so, so hard to find the thread of memory, but there's just nothing there. ]

[ambiography]

...Ichiro.

[a little more worriedly.]
