Fall has truly swept over the campus, and the colorful leaves will crunch underneath your feet as you walk through the school. In fact, your adventures might bring you to some new locations where construction has concluded. Take a look around!

On every building bulletin board, as well as on your phone, there's a new posting for this week's Dorm Wars tasks. Check out which answer resonates with you the most, and then get those points for your team! Speaking of your team, it seems like Office Hours are open for all Dorm Heads if you'd like to chat with them. Maybe see if there's anything you'd like to redeem a voucher for?

Once again, a now familiar ringtone plays from every student's phone. The screen will automatically open to the Student Directory. Everyone's ID Cards with their wonderfully flattering and fitting pictures are now out there for the world to see. How do you feel about yours?

A few classes in particular have been highlighted with open enrollment and can be joined for the week:

Finally, there also appears to be a hay ride attraction for everyone to enjoy. Yes, you can ride the tractor. No, you can't cause property damage. In fact, it seems like as you enjoy your hay ride or tractor joy ride, you may hear the occasional growl of a bear.... And just in case you need a nice cozy place to have all these deep, important conversations, a bonfire is located at the central campus lawn with blankets and wooden logs available for everyone to sit on - plus supplies for s'mores! Yay!

Kind of. More like the spirit of an old friend. [a beat.] And ghost-shaped monsters, I guess.

[divineimpulse]

I suppose supernatural myth is always somewhat based in fact.

Do you fight monsters?

[goalsides]

[technically, he supposes, they are monsters.]

Something like that. Whenever they start messing things up we have to step in to stop them.

[divineimpulse]

That's generally how we fight monsters, as well.

What weapons do you wield?

[goalsides]

[this is putting some things into context.]

Oh. Uh...we don't use weapons or anything. Our partners fight for us.

[divineimpulse]

Your partners?

[she's imagining taichi's battlebuddy or something. like he's just a lil merchant.]

Yeah. They're sentient creatures that we're partnered with from a different world.

[as you do.]

[divineimpulse]

[she blinks,]

Sentient... creatures? [uh,] Tamed beasts?

[she's trying to imagine. something like the cursed one, maybe? or a crest stone gone awry, but its target can still talk?]

I guess you could say that, sure. They were never evil or anything, but they're creatures that were waiting for us years ago because we're partners. They're not like normal animals or pets though.

[divineimpulse]

Do they talk?

[goalsides]

Yup. A lot of them are actually pretty bad at being quiet.

[divineimpulse]

Rather than fight with weapons, you fight with the abilities of your contracted non-human sentient creature partners.

[did she get all that]

[goalsides]

Right. You basically got it.

They're called Digimon.

[divineimpulse]

What happens if your... Digimon loses the battle?

Do you not step in? [to fight]

[goalsides]

Not physically. There isn't really that much we can do to fight for them, but we can help them evolve further when things get rough.

[divineimpulse]

You can cast magic on them to power them up?

[goalsides]

[...he is not sure if it would be easier or more complicated to explain the power of their crests and the digimon partner bond.]

Yeah. Pretty much. You're from a world where magic exists?

[divineimpulse]

[she nods.]

And you're from an electricity world.

[she's starting to think that the line between them is rather thin. magic and advanced technology... what was the difference?]

[goalsides]

Right, now you're getting it. [sipping his tea.] But I guess we kind of can use magic in that other world even if it's not really us using it? Especially since the world world is kind of like electricity?

[digital...]

[wow she might've been really close with the electricity and magic crossover there as far as she's concerned.

she nods.]

It sounds fantastical.

[if not for recent events, she wouldn't believe him.]

[he will never tell her otherwise, byleth is doing great. i, however, am not because i really meant "the whole world" and not "the world world."]

It's one of the most amazing places I've ever seen. Even with all of the monsters around.
