On Friday morning at 7AM, everyone will find that they're now able to leave their suites and dormitories. How will they know the time they can leave? Well, it's because it's hard to ignore the fire alarm that's blaring in every building of the campus, and also the fact that all of the banners and materials with the school crest seems to have changed into something different? Hm.

Is this a practice drill? Did someone pull the alarm? Perhaps there's an actual fire somewhere. There's only one way to find out.

Maybe you should look around.

Welcome Students, to the second investigation!

We will be posting top-levels for searchable locations—one set at 6PM EST and another set at 7PM EST. Each location will contain evidence to find, though it's up to your efforts as to whether you find all of it. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters.

We will stop tagging each top-level two hours after it went up, i.e. at 8PM and 9PM EST, respectively. Don't worry if you don't find everything! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9PM EST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s).

[Tsuyukusa is scowling as he traipses along, and he is supporting Sieg as he goes because like hell is he letting you walk around on a bum leg he is a MEDICAL TREE, SIR.]

I can't believe that not only did some new idiot get murdered, but they did it at the same time as last week.
[JUST ASSUMING. Anyway general state of the field? Is there a body in the same place as the last one because he is going to be looking by the bleachers again.]

[He takes a look around. What type of field are they looking at? And because he's accompanied by Tsuyukusa, Sieghart winds up around the bleachers as well, but his view is set on their general surroundings.]

[ anyway i guess seeing as we're mad about books they're in the library first? what's immediately off about this situation? fire? goop? someone moved all the bibles to fiction? ]

[ ichiro is a smart young man and therefore has pulled his headphones over his ears to deal with the fire alarm noises, though he's sticking close enough to crow that he can hear him. bad feelings, yeah - he gives crow a grim look. that's the whole mood. no one could've ever seen this coming, ]

Be careful, guys. [ is what ichiro says, though because he's a good boy. he's gonna check the entrance up to the library - the area around the doors, anything on the path coming up to it. anything exciting stand out? ]

[ Crow having a bad feeling dashes any hopes that it's a prank. Covering up one ear and being envious of the one with headphones for a moment before he sighs. ]

Looks like we can't get a break. Yell if you find anything.

[ Since there was quite a bit of excitement yesterday with people popping back up injured. He's going to check for anything obvious before heading towards Moonbucks. ]

HEALTH OFFICE + STUDENT UNION BUILDING

she looks pretty bleary-eyed and kind of hungover, so that's nice. maybe there is a hangover cure in the SUB. anyway, she scoots indoors, pulling her jacket close, and squints. does anything look weird from first glance on the first floor?]

[ what a surprise, hope is here too! he is not hungover, because that would be weird, hewwo. while he's not as shaken to be out and investigating like he was last week, he's got a heavy frown on his face, little hands tucked into fists at his sides. ]

Just like we thought...it's the same as last week.

[ with beau checking first floor, hope immediately rushes for the stairs! is there anything to see on his way there? ]

[ dimitri is not hungover but he looks like he's slept about a day in the past five years anyway. he wasn't awake last week for this, so time to tag along as they look around.

since there's three floors to check here, he'll go with hope to the stairs. anything in the stairwell? ]

BETWEEN CAFETERIA/FIELD + GYMNASIUM

[well, well, well, if it isn't our old friend, piercing fire alarm

she's been out looking, and is now around between the cafeteria and the field, covering the space between them. anything interesting leaning on either of these buildings, anything notable on the walls or the grass?]

[he is starting to hate alarms! wow! but he runs out of the dorm and immediately runs out, jogging up behind byleth. he's checking the outside of the cafeteria building as he approaches though, looking up. ]

[This is miserable. Wasn't it enough to be splattered with acid, does he really have to deal with the alarm too? At least whoever is murdering is doing it on some set schedule.

After you've all spent time searching high and low for any sign of what happened, a ringtone will emit from your smartphones. A new notification has arrived: a report card. What's it say?

Shortly after, all phones will receive a notification stating that all Dorm Heads currently attending mandatory meeting following emergency. Emails and messages will go through, but they will not be able to respond. (Please don't send Audience Requests but you can OOCly let us know if your character tries to contact them.)

Any further investigation will not manifest in any more clues. You'll simply have to hold onto the pieces that you have until tomorrow.
