Wow. Weekends sure are wild.

Whatever time everyone wakes up this Sunday morning, they'll see a message on their phones, much like the previous day. This one states:

The expulsion of Jang Manwol will take place at the Athletics Field at 1PM.

When the time comes, there will be no mysterious compulsion to head over there. It seems like this event isn't a mandatory one to attend. Everyone who does make their way to the stadium will see that the field has changed into something, uh, a little different. No one is allowed to walk onto the field itself, except for Manwol who is already standing in the center, and will have to immediately get onto the stands to take a seat. The Dorm Heads are there as well, in the observer's box.

Once it hits 1PM, a voice will ring out from some kind of speaker system.

"A challenger approaches! Will Lila Rossi please come to the field?"

Lila will immediately start walking, regardless if she wants to or not. A path will allow her to get there safely. No one else will be able to follow her; while there isn't a physical barrier stopping them, they'll find that they simply cannot move their feet to step onto the same path.

[ The jumbotron will display everything so that even people seated far back can see. Before the execution starts, it flashes two images:

[for the most part, Manwol's looking pretty calm as she stands in the middle of the stage. She's dressed in an entirely different outfit (because when you go out you gotta go out in style!!), and she also has a bright multi-colored scarf wrapped around her waist that might look familiar to some (it's claude's) and a hairpin tucked into her bun. in other words, she's styling. look, she might have essentially volunteered for this, but that doesn't mean she can't go out in style, right?

As soon as the announcer calls out Lila's name though, Manwol's hand drops from where she was fixing her hair. Her entire face stiffens -- and maybe some of the others will know the exact reason why -- then relaxes. Well.

This will make things difficult. She glances at the ground, bends down and picks up an object. Part because she wants to get it over with, part because she's feeling compelled to. She turns it over in her hands, places a finger on the button,]

You better fight seriously if you want to live, Lila.

[because frightening Lila into fighting for her life will make all of this so much easier. Manwol thinks of Kaoruko's last move -- her strength. She doesn't know if she can make that same decision.]

[ there's no compulsion to be here, but kon is - and he's standing there, silently seething still over the results of yesterday's trial. but whatever he did last night, whoever he talked to, it seemed to have gotten him to return to his usual composure otherwise.

... until lila is the other party, and he snaps out a: ] You've got to be fucking kidding me!

[Rita's here, looking sullen... and then she sees who's stepping forward.]

[ Mabel is here, looking resolute and ready to handle anything, with fistfuls of bandaids and even more in her pockets.

...then they announce Lila will be going in too. ]

What? No, you can't do that! That's not fair!

[she's actively trying to walk to the path, but her feet just won't move.]

[seriously? another stage, another set-up, and when lila begins to approach the field he growls under his breath.]

Who's doing this to us?

[He was already not feeling too great because of Manwol, but then he hears Lila's name too and that just does it for him.]

Lila-

[For a moment he actually starts taking steps towards the field, but they can't actually get there, so he's left being forced to sit instead.

This sucks.]

[ Sitting there quietly. Patiently. ]

[Her sleeves are rolled all the way down and her hands are shoved in her coat pocket when she arrives, and that's how they'll stay even when Lila gets called to the field.

She hums, mildly.]

Huh, so it's always going to be like this after all.

[Well he's watching this time! He's gonna watch this time. Fuck it, they tried.]

[He'd been watching with a sort of grim expression but when Lila's name is called he just looks angry all over again, reflexively moving as if to follow even though they can't. How does one lad have so much mad in him.]

[when Lila's name is called, Catra's ears immediately flatten against the top of her head, fur bristling and tail lashing angrily]

[ Otome is here! And not... looking thrilled. Like she didn't want to be here at all, but well. Damage control.

Of course, nothing happens to make that expression lighten at all. In fact, when she sees Lila move forward, her grip goes white-knuckled on her medical bag and Otome herself is just as pale. ]

[ Nier is here, sitting quietly, and seething with so much anger. He knows he can’t get on the field, many have tried before and are trying now.

just angy. no talk. ]

[ Wow, that was crazy! Isn't it nice that this week from hell is ending?

Finally.

After today's expulsion, when the sun is beginning to dip below the horizon, four figures will waddle out to the front of the Dorms, just as tired and exhausted as everyone else. Over the campus speakers, a voice will read out: ]
