Wow. Weekends sure are wild.

Whatever time everyone wakes up this Sunday morning, they'll see a message on their phones, much like the previous day. This one states:

The expulsion of Jang Manwol will take place at the Athletics Field at 1PM.

When the time comes, there will be no mysterious compulsion to head over there. It seems like this event isn't a mandatory one to attend. Everyone who does make their way to the stadium will see that the field has changed into something, uh, a little different. No one is allowed to walk onto the field itself, except for Manwol who is already standing in the center, and will have to immediately get onto the stands to take a seat. The Dorm Heads are there as well, in the observer's box.

Once it hits 1PM, a voice will ring out from some kind of speaker system.

"A challenger approaches! Will Lila Rossi please come to the field?"

Lila will immediately start walking, regardless if she wants to or not. A path will allow her to get there safely. No one else will be able to follow her; while there isn't a physical barrier stopping them, they'll find that they simply cannot move their feet to step onto the same path.

there is an immediate little lizard brain thought that goes time to bite but ichiro is going to ignore it as aggressively as humanly possible for as long as possible!! this means he doesn't shake her hand or try to, just kind of supporting her fingers instead. ]

[ HELL yeah!!!! this is heartening. winter dorm isn't ikebukuro, but it's something important. something to lean on, and something needed after a pretty shitty weekend. ]

[she sounds somewhere between touched and very surprised]

[ a beat and he glances around, looking for his fellow dorm members, giving the "yall in?" look with his eyebrows ]

i hate this, she was supposed to have this type of reaction in private only but this is already enough kindness that she's clearly very touched. her face flushes a bit and she averts her gaze, but it'd be hard to miss the emotion in her voice. hello? stop being nice to her right this instant.]

[ this, for the first time really since sunday has started, gets him to actually smile, and he squeezes her hand gently. ]

Good. I told you, we're all hype for it. I think - after everything, I'm pretty sure we all need it.
