It's time. It's here. Dead Hot Girl Summer. Temperatures are heating up around campus, the smoothie shop is the place to be, and it seems like the end of the school year is in sight. Isn't that exciting? All the banners that had their motto shifted over the weekend seem to have reverted back as well. In fact, your adventures might bring you to some new locations where construction has concluded. Take a look around! Don't forget to peer over at Dean's List. Not to mention this is a school campus, which means things are changing all the time - keep an eye out.

On every building bulletin board, as well as on your phone, there's a new posting for this week's Dorm Wars tasks. Check out which answer resonates with you the most, and then get those points for your team! Speaking of your team, it seems like Office Hours are open for all Dorm Heads if you'd like to chat with them. Maybe see if there's anything you'd like to redeem a voucher for?

Though if you're looking through your phone, it appears that the profiles for Leo Valdez, Tsuyukusa, and Otome have all disappeared. Expulsion is a hell of a drug.

In order to combat the weather, it seems like there are quite a few stations set up around campus. There's a bunch of faucets that weren't there before, coupled with incredibly necessary supplies. Go for it, you know you want to. All's fair in love and Dorm Wars. Though it may be just a little concerning when, for very short blips at a time, you might be able to hear a clip of someone's thoughts as they happen.

I thought maybe by naming it, that'd make it the enemy, and we could just all fight against it, but we tried and it wasn't having it.

It needs more than just a name. It wants a body of its own, right?

[ ... ] We already know this place can take people over, and compel them. My worry last time was the Dorm Heads, and then... they started regressing, on Sunday. 'm wondering if that's still what's gonna happen.

...I think the dorm heads are the best choice. They all already lost their memories once.

[I hate to even think of it, but...]

...But I also feel like it'd be the wrong choice to make. We'd all fight for them -- we already have. There's no way any of us would treat them as villains, even if they forgot about us.

It talks about a them a lot. If we're supposed to hate this group, it should probably be clearer on the them. If it means killers, most of them are gone to the daycare anyway, right?

What if we delete their transcripts? Whoever "they" are? Because the transcripts - when somebody dies, they just say they failed a class, not that their transcript goes away. What if there's no record of it in the first place?

Downside is you have to graduate to get the ... wish, or something right? Suppose we'd be taking that away from them.

I cannot speak for this "them," but personally I find the trade of one wish for everyone's safe return a perfectly worthwhile trade.

They'll need their transcripts to graduate, but it doesn't say anything about not deleting and completely creating new transcripts that erase their previous activity, grades, classes... That's - it's a literal, real world, common thing that hackers do.

Take the original, throw it out, replace it with something to make it real.

Wouldn't that be a little out of our reach, though? The daycare was trying to fix theirs, weren't they, I don't know that we could actually gain access.

But if they're listening, maybe they could manage that.

It should know that's a failed effort already. Many of us have been forced to fight illusions of one another—if not outright fight each other—on field trips, and it hasn't yet worked in harbouring any real hatred.

My extra credit, uhm, 'burn a body' - mannequin counted for that. So, maybe. We can, uhm, dress is up like a villain.

I can make it look better than anyone else here. Maybe that will make it more tempting to possess.

There are all kinds of stories out there that lean on the fourth wall. But I guess that's not what it wants, huh?

There're still a couple more of the communication coupons around. This confirmed mine worked, so - maybe someone else can take a crack at it.

It didn't stick around that long - and we definitely got some new stuff out of it. This is the first time we've had any kind of "option", even if they're shitty options. When the other two talked to it, it was just [ he glances at his phone. ] - "Hate more or you'll be overwritten" or something, right?

Maybe it's just starting to be a little more specific about the kind of hate it wants to see.
