Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?

Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:

Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.

Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.

All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.

From where she's seated, Sally speaks.

"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."

Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.

Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

[. . . reaches for the pendant to lift it from his neck, allowing it to rest in the palm of her hand]

[focus, Catra!! her ears flick forward as she takes a closer look at the marks on his neck. do they look like they could have come from the chain of the pendant? if the skin doesn't look straight is it like. . . twisted in a certain direction??]

[dormheads]

[The bruising marks are thick and sort of braided in design, definitely not from the thin chain.

The skin is mostly swollen, making it uneven, but also the angle the head is tilted doesn't help. His head just limply rests toward the right shoulder.]

[supercatty]

[well, she wants to remove this chain, so. . . she lifts his head up slightly with one hand to tug the chain off over it. does the neck feel broken when she does so?]

[dormheads]

[The neck crunches and crackles when she lifts it to take off the chain!

Oh no. :'(

It's broken.]

[supercatty]

[. . . WHEW!!! she lets out an involuntary hiss at that. the pendant gets held close to her chest before she pockets it for closer examination later]

[anyway!! is there anything off about his head in general? if not she is going to start respectfully undressing him to see if there are any other wounds on his front]

[Nothing is off about the head she can tell.

Removing his clothes reveals.......very, very sexy abs. Unfortunately, Catra is a lesbian, so the strong, sexy physique doesn't phase her at all. Crow just works out a lot, she guesses.

On the torso's front, there's a handful of small nicks and cuts. There are also strings of bruising that matches the ones from his neck, criss-crossing here and there over different parts of his midsection.]

[SORRY YOU ARE NOT BEING STRIPPED BY SOMEONE WHO CAN APPRECIATE THOSE ABS CROW!!]

[her gaze narrows at those braided bruises, but she hones in on the nicks and cuts. how recent are they? and how do his arms and legs and hands and feet look?]

[dormheads]

[The cuts are fresh. They're all small, not really precise in their placement anywhere.

His arms have one or two of the same small, imprecise cuts, but are otherwise fine. No injuries or anything. Nothing is out of place on the hands.

The legs are blueish-purple from about the knee down to the feet. The discoloration covers the leg all the way around on every part of the skin. There aren't any wounds on the legs or feet.]

[is there a pattern to the below-the-knee bruising? like a braided pattern similar to the ones around his neck and torso?]

[dormheads]

[Looking closely, the braided pattern doesn't seem to reach down quite that far, no.]

[supercatty]

[actually IS the below-the-knee blue-purple discoloring bruising?? I realize I assumed it was but it was worded funnily, so let us cover our bases!!]

[dormheads]

[It resembles bruising, but there's no gaps in it over the legs. The whole bottom half of both legs and feet are blueish-purple.

Maybe Crow understood the gravity of his situation.]

[supercatty]

[I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT MEANS MODS????]

[anyway time to flip Crow over and see what his back looks like!]

[dormheads]

[I know, and I still love you.

He has a very sexy back, but Catra is still a lesbian. I'm being forced to do this at gunpoint.

I realized I forgot to say there was old scar tissue on his chest over his heart because I was distracted by the ropes. Catra can see an exit of old scar tissue, smaller, on the back over the same area.]

[supercatty]

[this sexy body is wasted on Catra, I am so sorry Crow]

[she reaches out to touch that scar tissue though!!]

[are there any other wounds on his back? a continuation of the braised bruises, blood, more nicks and cuts, etc??]

[dormheads]

[There's no nicks or cuts on the back, but there is a continuation of the braided bruising, yes.

There isn't anything else.]

[supercatty]

[okay! then she will do a quick check of his hair, his fingers and fingernails, and the bottoms of his feet just to see if there is anything she missed]

[if there isn't, then it is time to rummage through the pockets of his clothing]

[dormheads]

[His hair is soft and probably should have been ruffled more, but nothing is there. His fingers and fingernails are clean. The bottoms of his feet are fine.

In Crow's pockets are: a cashmere scarf, his student ID, and his phone.]

[supercatty]

[if only Catra were the hair ruffling type :(]

[time to check his phone!! is it locked?]

[dormheads]

[The phone is locked by a passcode!]

[supercatty]

[AS EXPECTED. . . she stares at it for a moment before pocketing it does later. she doesn't have any guesses for the passcode right now]

[and finally, it is time to examine the pendant she stole from his neck earlier. is there anything off about it?]

[dormheads]

[Nope. It is simply a nice silver wolf ring.]

[supercatty]

[okay, back into her pocket it goes. also I said the pendant was last but ACTUALLY she's going to examine the cashmere scarf too. what's it looking like? bloodied, torn, etc etc?]

[dormheads]

[It isn't bloody or torn! It's very soft, and very warm. Definitely a good idea for not being cold.]
