Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?

Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:

Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.

Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.

All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.

From where she's seated, Sally speaks.

"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."

Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.

Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

Nothing. We didn't really get to look under him or around the freezer that well, but nothing stood out immediately. We could go back and look.

Something to think about, though we have no idea if this is related to Crow and Molly. We never were able to find a connection with all the others.

I don't know...Ichiro and I were talking and we've been thinking about it. There's a pattern I've noticed. Every week, someone's hit with a school spirit curse. First it was Catra, then Sagihara, and this past week it was Malik. All three of them have ended up outside.

But that's not all either. There's another pattern that we noticed, too. [he'll look to ichiro for help.]

We picked up on a couple patterns, actually. It went like this.

The first week, the victim was summer, with winter as a killer. The second week, summer - Lan Wangji - with winter - Rupert - as a killer again. Then, the third week, it was spring - Sieghart-san - and fall - Bradley. We know at least one of those killers was Winter, Rupert.

So it works out to two kills for summer, two kills for spring. Each week, the sleeping people have been from different dorms, and Taichi noticed that the people who are hit with that curse are usually from the same dorm as one of the victims.

So, Malik was from the same dorm as Molly. Not only that, but we've had someone asleep in a weird place from Winter all three weeks that a Winter person killed.

That makes me think that whoever killed Molly or Crow had to be from Fall.

Wait, hold on. But the first week, Sieghart and Dimitri woke up outside. Dimitiri could've been a clue for Kaoruko, but Sieghart has nothing to do with the victim.

That's the only outlier. [ me crying about tutorial week. ] But everything was weird that week. I mean - we had the bear at trial. Otherwise, everything matches up.

[ also to clarify for people at home i meant "two kills" as in "two people were killed in summer and spring" ]

...But that outlier is the only one where we knew who everyone involved was.

Yeah.

We still don't know how those people get outside. It's not a hundred percent on a theory - can't have it be fact until we back it up with multiple sources. But if it's a coincidence [ he kind of glances over at caiman for a second ] then it's a hell of a coincidence.

... That would narrow down the suspect pool quite a bit. For at least one of our murderers. [ ... ] Though I still don't understand why Caiman was stabbed, when all the others were relatively unharmed.

[ squeezy... also maybe a bit of a wince since if taichi presumably has his good shoulder then futaba has his bad arm rip but it's definitely not as pronounced as when he was first injured ]

I'd rather us not rely on conspiracy theories when we should be able to solve cases with evidence. It would also put us in the spot where all of our known killers so far are from winter and can easily be seen as suspicious as fall possibly being a part of these cases.

No doubt, man, no doubt. I agree.

[ especially considering he's a winter! but he's putting his own dorm on the line here too. ] It's just a weird pattern. I'd rather have evidence, too.

It'd be better if we're just given the answer.

I agree. There is likely some kind of pattern, but I do not think we can confirm it with what we know.

[ also bc i need to put this somewhere ] For what it's worth, I bought an item that will allow us to narrow the suspect pool, if only somewhat.
