Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?

Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:

Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.

Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.

All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.

From where she's seated, Sally speaks.

"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."

Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.

Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

But I wonder if the freezer might make for a good cover up for someone hurt by a weapon that inflicts frost.

If we want to prove someone is innocent, we have to press the evidence. Looking away won't help.

I -- guess! But I don't remember anything! I went to sleep in the dorm -- is this about Molly's murder?! I wouldn't have killed him!

[katzepaw]

[Very calmly, but with blood still on his hands.]

Why is that?

[ Oh, Caleb. He winces a little because he knows you guys were friends... castmates. ]

'Cause we were friends... we had a lot of the same shit going on, so -- and he said stuff like... how he just wanted to live a happy life how he was. 'Stead of trying to go back to who he was.

Sounded like a pretty good life plan to me...

[katzepaw]

[It's hard to get a read on whether he's angry or just listening.]

Ja. That is a pretty good life plan, isn't it? Do what makes you happy and leave every place better than you found it. It's not a bad way to live.

[headsplitter]

Yeah... I think so.

[ He just looks... uncertain? A tad angry? Fairly depressed. It's a pretty expressive face for a reptile. ]

I know. You probably wouldn't have had a reason to. But...

You could be involved without having killed someone. Weren't you hurt?

I was, but I dunno why...

If your memories were erased, then you wouldn't know. But we can try to figure out what happened.

Uh, right here. [ Pointing to his front, near the side. ]

[ leaping in front of Caiman like a very tiny, ineffective human shield ]

Hey, leave him alone! Caiman did nothing wrong!

You leave this alone.

[His tone is suddenly a little sharp.]

We will be getting to the bottom of what happened, regardless of whether asking questions hurts someone's feelings.

Hey, ease up. [steps a bit in between, not aggressively] Not like tellin' her offs gonna put your friend's head back on, dude.

[immediately:] Shut the fuck up, Denji.

[ catching his eye, ichiro shakes his head, and then makes a little jerk of it in the other direction. c'mere. ]

[katzepaw]

[His expression is thin.]

And your barging in and trying to prevent people from asking questions will not save your friend from the noose. If he is innocent, the best thing for him is to find out everything we can.

So if you would like to sign his death warrant, by all means, continue acting as you are.

Fine, then, we will! And when he's innocent you'll feel bad about blaming him!

Hey, um. Do you have like...multiple pairs of shoes? Like, maybe in your dorm?

[headsplitter]

Uh... no, I don't think so...? Er, wait, no! I got my sorcerer disguise outfit for Halloween, that comes with white shoes...?!

[duranduel]

Did you leave those behind in the dorm? And...I guess we should check if there are shoes your size with the costume emporium...someone needs to check that.
