Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?

Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:

Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.

Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.

All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.

From where she's seated, Sally speaks.

"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."

Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.

Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

So it might be an accident that he was caught in the rope? Seems like too much of a coincidence.

But I guess we'll need to wait and see for the others to come back if there was any blood or something that suggested a struggle.

[her hands are still balled into fists. but he's right about needing to wait until the auditorium crew comes back, so. she just nods]

[IT'S FINE THEY'RE RETRACTED. she jerks a bit in surprise when he grasps her hand, but. . . she doesn't yank away]

so they are just holding hands now. he'll give her a lil squeeze before letting go. ]

[stares at her hand a moment after he lets go, but. . . she seems somewhat calmed]

Whoever it was knew what they were doing with those ropes.

[actually maybe claude is right and this is accidental autoerotic asphyxiation]

That's what I figured as well. I just don't understand how they managed to tie Crow up without knocking him unconscious first. Another spell or coupon perhaps?

[ stop let the man have some dignity ]

All the mind-altering coupons were accounted for, so I don't think it's one of those.

Maybe someone used a potion coupon? They could have asked for something that would have made him compliant.

Yeah, it's hard to account for whatever powers someone could've bought. Unless we start counting vouchers again.
