Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?

Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:

Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.

Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.

All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.

From where she's seated, Sally speaks.

"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."

Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.

Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

ichiro is perfectly fine with anyone checking over his bandages but he will definitely need someone to put them back on him, probably. he also will strip out in the open unless you ask him to get out of his underwear, and then that's going to the locker room.

he's got his bomber jacket, though it's looking worse for wear, and a regular t-shirt on today instead of his ugly hoodie. he did trade out his usual red headphones around his neck for a pair of goggles!

anyway. here he is! the good news is that ichiro is looking a lot better than he did on thursday. the bad news is he's still basically a sad tv dinner. by which i mean....

most of his bruises have faded from purple and black and red to a lighter purple-red-brown-green shade. they cover large spots on his back and the back of his legs, as well as on the right side of his ribcage and up his collar, where the bruising seems to have been the most condensed. it's still pretty painful but it's not crackling anymore, so that's nice! he's got several cuts that have gone from actively bleeding to just painful looking - one on his back, some on his legs, and some on his arms in random places, whiplike and painful looking. the radiant burns on his body have faded into a pale pink with some redder spots here and there, mostly on his thighs and chest, but the most blatantly obvious injury he has over all of this is a lichtenberg figure. it's a vicious, angry red even after healing. it originates on the palm of his right hand, where the burn still looks a pretty severe second degree. the lines then go down his fingertips, wrap around a dark, dark red burn around his middle finger where he typically wears a signet ring (he is not wearing one today), and stretch up all the way to his collarbone and shoulder.

there's also the residual of a frostbite injury on his right ankle. what does that look like? i don't know. i'm not googling it, it's about half healed. the bruise where his nose was busted is also looking as light as the bruising on his back and torso.

[ nope! its really just one giant bruise. sometimes you get slapped around a lot. the ones at his ribcage are definitely consistent with bones being broken. ]

Hope healed me up a little bit, and then our dorm contributed vouchers for me, Beau and Kainé on Thursday night to get healed up a little bit more. [ viola invented health insurance. ]
