Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?

Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:

Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.

Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.

All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.

From where she's seated, Sally speaks.

"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."

Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.

Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

I had a teleportation coupon last week... never used it before. I dunno, I can't check anymore 'cause it got replaced with a new one but...

Uh, none? Face recognition won't pick up [ GESTURES TO ALL OF HIMS FACE ] this, and my fingers have a hard time with the buttons. Can't voice-activate the phone on.

So if you were unconscious and had your phone on you, anyone could have picked it up and used it?

Once again, the people with those coupons were Byleth, Leo, Wang Lu, and Caiman.

We already know Caiman was up and about last night, so it was likely him, but... Where? When?

But if Caiman was actually asleep, how could he have used his?

If someone could make him move around, couldn't they make him operate his phone?

You're not allowed to use other people's coupons - I wonder if that applies to mind control. Like you can't force someone else to use their coupons.

Ja, this is what I am thinking. I think if the coupon was Caiman's, he had to have been awake at some point to use it.

UNACCOUNTED PURCHASES

Assuming Mollymauk used his sword, his ice power, and his ability to misty step, we have only a few unaccounted for purchases related to the murder.

Teleportation Coupon, 6 Voucher Purchase from Chad, 5 Voucher Purchase from Luke, and 8 Voucher Purchase from Sally.

If anyone knows what these are, please step forward. Remember they can be from Thursday onward or have been bought earlier but are related to the murder.

Caiman - have you ever made a purchase that was 5 vouchers from Luke, 8 from Sally, or 6 from Chad?

Nah... I got all my vouchers accounted for. Mandricardo and Beau listened to me list off what I got, but I didn't get anything this new week.

Not this week, though. Ever. Have you ever made purchases in those sizes.

I bought a one-voucher, one two-voucher, and gave one to Lalli. Gyoza, my second mask, and so he could get something nice. Five, six, four vouchers over the three weeks. Makes eleven.

So you've never spent 5 vouchers at one time with Luke, 8 vouchers at one time with Sally, or 6 vouchers at one time with Chad?

Nah. [ He shakes his head. ] I'd say not that I remember, but I've got all the vouchers here, so.

Caiman himself, Byleth, Wang Lu, and Leo were the ones that reported teleportation coupons last week. If there was someone else that had it, they didn't volunteer that information.

No, none of them.

It might be that someone controlling Caiman ordered him to teleport.

No. [He says this a little more harshly than he means to, but.]

There is no mind control! None was used at all! No memories erased! Look at the receipts. Viola said such a thing would be at least 12 vouchers. No purchase was made near that size.

We are fixated on a fairy tale.
