Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?

Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:

Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.

Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.

All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.

From where she's seated, Sally speaks.

"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."

Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.

Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.

[gives him a confused look, but her hand rests against the whip]

Why?

I just want to look over it in case there's damage or something...I won't leave with it. It'll only take a few seconds...

[supercatty]

[her eyes narrow, but she looks torn between giving him her whip and holding it back]

And if you found nebulous damage on it, what would you think?

[duranduel]

[A shake of the head.]

Nothing. Weapons get wear and tear if used, and I just want to see if there's anything recent. It doesn't mean anything with you in particular.

...I'm not to jump to conclusions, is what I'm sayin'.

[she detaches her whip from her hip and hands it to him. HAVE AT IT MANDI]

I appreciate it, Catra.

[Looking over it carefully! Recent scuffmarks, stains, dirt, anything off with it?]

[supercatty]

[it has normal wear and tear, but all of it looks old! and in fact, it kind of looks like it hasn't been used in a few weeks. no newer scuffs, stains, dirt, or blood residue at all]

[Catra is watching him carefully]

[Hands it back with a light smile.]
