WEEK 3: TRIAL

victims:

Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?
Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:
- Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.
Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.
All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.
From where she's seated, Sally speaks.
"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."
Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.
Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.
Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.
If you have any questions at any time, please let us know by pinging us on Discord!

[Despite his flippant tone, he's massaging his forehead, frustrated and sweating a little.]
The last thing I want. The very last thing. Is to kill a man who was used and manipulated as a puppet and cannot remember what he has done.

she... will stand up, and gently place a hand on his back, actually.]

Well. This is what it is. I . . . I think so. I think we ought to spend an hour trying to find what happened to Crow, not. . . arguing this in circles. I have my vote.
no subject
... Yeah. I have mine too, I guess. [he's not a very touchy person, and she knows, but. she holds onto his coat very tightly.] We did as much as we could to figure it out.
no subject
I can't just walk around not knowing for sure. I can't do it.
no subject
[...] If it isn't, we don't have to stop trying to figure it out just because we're not here.

his voice sounds a little rough, too, brows knit, sympathetic. he doesn't reach out to touch or anything because he's not beau, but the emotion's all genuine. ] ...I know, man.
... We still got time. Let's try and see what we can figure out about Crow, too.
no subject
I agree. Crow, now. I was selfish before, but I have my answer. I won't steal more time for answers for those who cared for him.

[she looks at him after he says that, expression unreadable. but like before, catra will remember this!!]
