WEEK 3: TRIAL

victims:

Good thing yesterday was just a dream, huh?
Just kidding. Everyone will wake up to a text on their phone that has only a simple message:
- Go to the gymnasium at 12 PM. Attendance is mandatory.
Everyone is free to go to the designated spot on their own, but once it hits 11:55, any stragglers will feel compelled to go and will join the others at the gym. As soon as every student is inside, the doors will lock behind them.
All of the bleachers are out, so students are free to sit wherever they like. At the very front of the gym is a gathering of a few items, one being a large desk where two of the Dorm Heads are present. When the clock hits noon, the scoreboard turns on, starting a countdown of nine hours.
From where she's seated, Sally speaks.
"You have nine hours again. It's... you'll be able to do it. Work hard."
Better get to it. That scoreboard is ticking.
Hello everyone and welcome to our fourth trial! the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 5-6 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.
Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously.
If you have any questions at any time, please let us know by pinging us on Discord!

he looks like he hates suggesting this, making a foul face, but also. ]
...If someone... either was controlling Caiman or... even trying to create drama that matched a "character"... he did literally say he saw his own head get autopsied.

They did have very similar backgrounds. Maybe that made for some good drama.

Who... the fuck...

[He actually drops a little bit of the cold fury again when he looks at him; there's something sympathetic.]
If you were manipulated here, then I want to get to the bottom of that, too.

I just hope... not.
[ Everything is happening so much. ]

And... the way Molly was - the way he was on the ground. I saw one of Beau's memories, when we were together on Thursday. [ he can probably guess the one. ]
... Those things pair together like something out of a script.

[He frowns for a second, a little sad.]
Or maybe it's not the autopsy. When, uhm. When Mollymauk woke for the first time, he couldn't speak. The only word he could say was 'Empty.' I thought at first perhaps that was, uhm, the joke.

he looks. horrified. and angry. really angry! ]
.... That's fucked up. [ god FUCK this place. ] Why not both, right? Why not, for the most drama possible? Fuck!

Between the level of violence against Sieghart and Mollymauk, perhaps something has been controlling Caiman. [ only conjecture, but. ]

There may be some larger, more insidious plot at work. Details of which we cannot know for sure.

And Rupert had to do it twice. Maybe the same could be said of the person who killed Sieghart.

[ So. ]
I find it difficult to imagine if Caiman wanted to get away with murder enough to make Denji a suspect, that he wouldn't clear himself up before trial, too.
